The Optimum Scraper is Ideal for Bench Scraping to distress wood floors before installing.
Description
This is the Largest of all our hand scrapers. It is an ideal choice for bench scraping before a large hardwood floor installation job. If your hand scraping is going to be done on floor already installed, you may want to consider the Ultimate model; although all of our custom hand scrapers consider personal preference. Heavy Duty like all of our scrapers, this super curve handle provides the leverage needed to distress wood floors effectively and efficiently.

Replacement Hook Blades
Designed specifically for scraping any type of hardwood, the replacement hooked blades can be used in any of the custom hand scrapers. As the hook becomes dull, just simply use a mill/bastard file to keep the edge sharp; then when the hook eventually wears down completely, you can send the blades back to us for re-hooking, or re-hook the blade yourself by using our one-of-a-kind Hook Blade Machine to achieve fast and effective results right on the job!
*For achieving that Custom Hand Distressed looks on wood flooring, results are best achieved when using the best blade and blade is properly hooked.

2 lb. Steel Ball Grip
Mounted on the head of the scraper, the extra weight and grip the 2lb steel ball adds, makes large scraping jobs much easier.
It is also removable for certain situations and personal preference.
