Hook Blade Machine
The Hook Blade Machine is designed to quickly and easily allow you to re-hook your blades efficiently and effectively.
*Note: If you are re-hooking your own blades, you will first need to remove any bit of old hook that may be left and then bevel the edge of your blade using a filing stone or bench grinder first.
Once you have a new beveled edge on your blade, simply place the Hook Blade Machine in your vice (whether it be in your shop or work van), insert the blade between the two plates on the machine. Finally, while applying a good amount of pressure with the handle you can fatigue the metal over once again, creating a perfect hooked blade.**Please see instructional videos for further information on the process of Re-Hooking your Scraper Blades. Designed specifically for scraping any type of hardwood, the replacement hooked blades can be used in any of the custom hand scrapers. As the hook becomes dull, just simply use a mill/bastard file to keep the edge sharp; then when the hook eventually wears down completely, you can send the blades back to us for re-hooking, or re-hook the blade yourself by using our one-of-a-kind Hook Blade Machine to achieve fast and effective results right on the job!
*For achieving that Custom Hand Distressed looks on wood flooring, results are best achieved when using the best blade and blade is properly hooked.

*We recommend 1 blade per every 100 square feet.
